A happy gathering even after the losses...

Is this is how it's supposed to work?

Not really my kind of way in doing things, but maybe I can find someone of my era there?

And during one of my travels, I found something interesting...

There are some cultures where death and departure is celebrated, as a means of honoring the person’s life and the memories that those people shared with them. The same goes for those who have already passed on, there are days of joyous celebration honoring and remembering them.

In this particular case however, it’s more of a celebration of those who have remained here. Rather than dwelling on those who have left, it embraces those who can still interact with one another and continue on despite it all. It is to bring those who are still here closer together in hopes of restoring the life of the city to what it once was.
