Koga's wicked Chameleon ninja had been roaming Cherrygrove and its outskirts for a while. The next destination was to the north where Violet City was, but there was a little hesitation. Saemon found no reason to rush; furthermore, according to a citizen in town, it would take a week to reach.

(All this to seek badges in this world). Many thoughts occurred. In this different world space, things were more serene compared to warring Japan, plus many people practiced the custom of training animals for various reasons. Maybe it still bothered him that he may stay here for quite a while, potentially years, or even forever?

One thing's for sure, he should try to get a fishing rod. But that seemed very far.

Good question. Start but finding something close to how things were in your world and focus on that.

To an extent. One war had just ended, and another was almost certain to begin soon.

My world seems to be near-constantly embroiled in a state of conflict. [He doesn't seem either especially pleased or displeased about that. He says it in the same matter-of-fact manner one would say that the sky is blue.]

What did you do when you first came here? What were your thoughts?

My first thought was that someone had taken me from my rightful place and my rightful body and put me in this drastically inferior one, stripped of all my power. I was furious.

But, as I always do, I adapted. I learned the rules of this world and am now on my way to becoming a force to be reckoned with in it.

Well I did think I was dead when I first got here, but everyone told me that this wasn't the afterlife.

Well, I first freaked out because I never had a mom before! [ oops. ] But, after that, I just blinked and stared at my pokedex and got going on my journey. It was quite fun, and sort of difficult. It was much easier and funner than being in a depressing war, so I leaped at the chance to get a paid vacation where I did little work! [ ... too bad she never really got that chance ): ]
